WHO: Tara Alperin is casting a short film that is seeking performers with a strong movement background.
Looking for:
1 Male Lead – Average height. Lean and/or athletic build. Should be able to sprint.
1 Female Support – Average height. Lean/slender (healthy) frame. Should be able to swim.
WHAT: The concept involves the performers wearing green screen suit that, in post production, will be used to create visuals of different colors dancing across the performers bodies. It is important that the performers move well and/or have a dance background. Some acting experience is helpful but not necessary.

Diavolo: Propelling the evolution of dance and entertainment to make the arts more integrated within the mainstream of America.
WHO: Diavolo Dance Theater is an internationally renowned modern acrobatic dance company. Diavolo company members are dancers, gymnasts, actors, athletes and, above all, teammates. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Jacques Heim, the Company has developed a reputation for stunning, innovative movement on oversized surrealistic sets and everyday structures. Through working together, Diavolo dancers explore the challenges of relationships, the absurdities of life, and the struggles to maintain our humanity.
WHAT:
Audition: Diavolo is seeking male and female dancers to join the Touring Company for the 2013-2014 season. Dancers need to bring comfortable clothing (long pants) and protective gear like knee pads, etc., and should NOT be afraid of heights.
Summer Intensive: Receive professional training in partnering skills, performance techniques, and creation. Under the guidance of Diavolo Company Members, students will learn movement and create their own performance on one or more of Diavolo’s set pieces. The workshop will culminate in an informal peer performance. Dancers will receive constructive critiques on choreography and be challenged in their presentation. The intensives are structured in such a way as to challenge and build upon one another. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to grow as a choreographer and performer! This workshop is open to dancers of all levels.
